Buying a used Fiat Van

Used Fiat Ducato

The third generation Fiat Ducato van rolled off the production line in 2006 and continues to benefit from regular technical updates. The Fiat Ducato now has a brand new 9-speed automatic gearbox, as well as a new engine in the form of a powerful 160-horsepower 2.3 L Multijet turbodiesel unit. 

The Fiat Ducato is, to date, the largest utility vehicle in the Fiat Professional range, at 4.96 metres long and 2.05 metres wide, the Fiat Ducato has, depending on the version has a storage capacity ranging from 7.5 to 30 cubic metres and 2 to 9 seats depending on whether it's being used as a van or minibus.

 

Used Fiat e-Ducato

The range has also welcomed a brand new 100% electric version: The Fiat e-Ducato. This commercial vehicle has a huge and variable storage capacity of between 10 and 17 cubic metres. The Fiat e-Ducato comes as a panelled van, glazed van, and a chassis-cab, much like its counterpart. Its 122-horsepower electric motor incorporates two batteries to provide a range of between 220 and 370 kilometres or 136 and 229 miles after a full charge.

 

Used Fiat Talento van

The second-generation Fiat Talento Van is a mid-size utility van that's between 5 and 5.4 metres long and less than 2 metres wide. This model only comes with a diesel engine, and you can choose between:

  • A 1.6 DCi engine block with a power between 90 and 125 horsepower;
  • A 2.0 BlueDCi engine block with a power between 120 and 170 horsepower.

The new generation Talento has advanced on-board tech including an on-board computer accessible via a 7-inch touch screen and a reverse camera to help with parking.

The modularity of a used Fiat Talento is its main strength. Its load capacity ranges from 5.2 m3 in L1H1 configuration to 8.6 m3 in L2H2 configuration.

 

Used Fiat Doblò van

The Fiat Doblò is the compact, leisure activity van from the Fiat Professional range. The second-generation model is available in:

  • A Fiat Doblò version for passengers, which can seat 5 to 7 people depending on the configuration;
  • A Fiat Doblò Cargo version for professionals.

The Doblò Cargo LCV comes in several versions:

  • The basic Fiat Doblò Cargo, with a capacity of 3.4 cubic metres;
  • The Fiat Doblò Cargo "XL" or "Maxi", which has a larger wheelbase for a  4.2 cubic metre payload;
  • The Fiat Doblò Cargo Maxi, with a roof raised by 245 millimetres to increase its load capacity.

This LVC comes with a 1.4 FIRE petrol engine and a 5-speed manual gearbox or a Fiat Multijet 1.3, 1.6 or 2.0 diesel block.

 

Used Fiat Fiorino van

The third generation Fiat Fiorino is a small-scale urban LCV launched by Fiat Professional in 2016. Built with the same technical platform as the Citroën Nemo and Peugeot Bipper, it's available with a 5-speed manual gearbox or a 6-speed robotic manual gearbox.

Compared to previous versions, the new generation Fiorino stands out thanks to a redesigned grille, repositioned exterior fog lights and an integrated Bluetooth-compatible on-board multimedia system, accessed by a 13 cm diameter touch screen with GPS5 navigation.

Used Fiat Fiorinos are also available with a wide variety of engines:

  • The petrol Fiat Fiorino with a 1.4 75 engine block and 4 cylinders, with a power of 73 to 75 horsepower;
  • The diesel Fiat Fiorino with a 1.4 HDi or 1.3 JTD engine block with a power of 68 to 95 horsepower;
  • The electric Fiat Fiorino Micro-Vett, released in 2009, comes in three versions with batteries that provide 70, 110 or 130 kilometres autonomy in normal traffic conditions.
