The famous "scorpion" brand joined the Fiat group in 1971 and later merged with the Stellantis Group. Today it remains a safe bet in the field of small convertibles and sporty city cars that promote the sheer pleasure of driving!

Which used Abarth should you choose?

You'll find several used Abarths that will allow you to revel in the spirit of this legendary brand.

The Abarth 500 AKA Fiat 500 Abarth is a sporty city car based on the Fiat 500 and by far the most popular model on the second-hand market. It comes in numerous versions:

  • The Abarth 500 Custom is the basic model. This lively, powerful car features a 1,368 cc, 16-valve 1.4 Tjet 4-cylinder Fiat engine, which can deliver up to 135 horsepower at 5,750 rpm.
  • The Abarth 500 Esseesse is a technical and technological update, with a notably more powerful 160 horsepower engine alongside reinforced suspension and brake discs.
  • The Abarth 500C is the convertible version of the city sports car. Launched in 2010, drivers can choose from several customised aesthetics (including a bi-colour body) and an automatic sequential Abarth Competizione gearbox.

The Abarth 595, which rolled off the production line in 2011, is another variation of the Fiat 500 and is the stand-out prestige 500 model. It comes with several different trims and specs:

  • The Abarth 595 Turismo is all about comfort and aesthetics;
  • The Abarth 595 Competizione, with its sporty lines and aerodynamics;
  • The Abarth 595 Scorpioneoro, a limited edition of 2,000,  launched in 2020 and which pays tribute to the 1979 A112 model;
  • The Abarth 595 Yamaha, also launched in 2020 and inspired by the biker world.
  • The Abarth 695, to mark Abarth's 70th anniversary and in recognition of the brand's passion and performance. This supercharged model boasts a whopping 180 HP.

Other recent Abarth cars that are well worth a mention are:

  • The Abarth Grande Punto, a sporty version of the Fiat model, released in 2007 and fitted with a Fiat 1.4 T-Jet Turbo petrol engine;
  • The Abarth 124 Rally, an ultra-sporty roadster launched in 2016 and inspired by the Fiat 124 Spider.
